PAPER CRAFTING
Typography
We only use top quality paper, strictly from Italian origin, of various weights and textures, and we choose it carefully for each type of product.
Playing cards and Tarot cards
The playing and tarot cards are typographically printed with marked but light colours, typical of the print production, well distinctive compared with the digital production. The cut is mechanical with a steel die which leaves the edge without points that scratch as in the cutter cut. For this reason on some cards the paper thread remains, thing that gives just that splendid handcrafted look. The lamination is opaque, it remain invisible and guarantees the protection of the paper from humidity and wear.

The Notebooks and Books paper
In the same way we create the Scrolls within Parchment sheets inside the Ancient Herbarium and his hard cover, as well as the Tuscan Almanac, Sketch-Books and Photo Albums .
The pages inside the books are all decorated with a " Centina Fiorentina " frame, which portrays the splendid ornament of Acanthus leaves, of Greek origin and Renaissance imprint. The White Notebooks interiors are all in smooth paper, perfect for pencils, ballpoint pens, rollerballs and fountain pens. The edges are all treated to look like ancient books, which turn yellow and then darken with time. The large black and white lithographic prints are also created with typographic techniques. Some of them are watercoloured by hand : by marrying these two ancient methods the result is beautiful paintings that seem almost in relief.
Wood Prints
Of similar manufacture are the wood prints on Caskets, Music-boxes, Clocks and Pendulums and Theatres: they are made on very thin paper, imperceptible on the edge of the cut of the wood, and treated with protective agents against UV rays and dust .
This is a new and original typographic technique, and the images design is all in ancient, fine and elegant style, which marries wonderfully with aged wood.

It is recommended not to clean any surface with chemicals or water; it is sufficient to pass a dust-catching cloth or tissue on the surfaces: they do not retain dirt, being smooth and treated with specific methods.
Paper printed and treated with artisanal methods is a gift to be received with pleasure full of charm and mystery.
